Bhutan is the small Himalayan kingdom located between China and India, moving in a suggestive transition from monarchy to democracy, clinging to the policies of sustainable development and the consolidation of Gross Happiness Index.The indicator is constructed through 33 variables that influence in 9 areas of social being: psychological well-being, time use, standards of living, culture, health, education, economics, governance and community vitality.
Diplomatic relations of the kingdom are closely restricted, Colombia has just established relations with Bhutan after a diplomatic visit in which common positions on issues of global governance were identified, particularly those aspects related to climate change, water resources management, security food and great possibilities of cooperation between providers utility industries, power transmission and tourism industries.
